We did it again!
Roast Beef Suppers for 2009 are HISTORY, and grand successes, too.
You can figure we fed about 940 people, and that's a heckuva lot!
We need to always keep in mind that our Roast Beef Suppers are more than just fundraisers ...
they are also a door into our church for folk who might otherwise never again enter one.

Book Talk (our very own Book Club) Our last book (in August) was The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver Many Thanks to Mary Jane Sawyer for hosting our group. Many thanks also to all the participants at our lively discussion. Our next choice The Shack by William Young If you've not heard, this book explores important theological questions, about God, God's nature, our purpose in life, just to whom Vengeance really belongs, death, loss, you-name-it, and more. In the meantime, our discussion (and nibble) session for this selection is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, 7:00pm at the home of Cal and Nan Sholl at 108 Lachance Drive in Rindge. Helping Membership Happen - Your Committee At Work
The Membership Committee have Welcome Baskets available. If you have
a new neighbor this would be a nice way to introduce yourself and the
church to them. They may be picked up at the church or speak to any
member of the committee (Susan Casey, Steve Henrikson, and Marcie Miller)
