Mother's Day

On Sunday May 8, 2004, the Men's Club prepared a special breakfast in honor of the women of the church.  The event was well attended and appreciated.

Jean Thayer spoke to the gathering about the importance of Mother's.  She also read a poem and Scripture.

One especially poignant moment is when Jean asked each of us to highlight one thing we remember about our Mother's.  One by one the blessings were revealed.

We were also treated a performance during the Sunday service by the Bell Choir playing chimes as accompanied vocally by Tony D'Ambrosio.

written by our own Mary Jane Sawyer (unfortunately we only see Mary Jane
playing the piano from behind).
