Day Trip to Boston - May 31, 2007
|
A few weeks ago Tony
D'Ambrosio finally found an excuse to go to this annual event ... he'd
get some of our kids to accompany him. It worked out well for
all, and Tony got his fill of old "classic" cartoons, and the kids had a good time too.
WCBR's Classic Cartoon Festival is held in Boston's magnificent
Symphony Hall, and a lot more goes on than just looking at old
cartoons. For example, we heard a wonderful string quartet made
up of teenage musicians, we were treated to a children's chorus, and we
heard over 200 young instrumentalists working together as an orchestra
to produce some very lovely music ... and they all started and finished
together, too.
Zach Galante and Michael Skowronek were Tony's companions on the trip and he much appreciated their company.
As you can see, Tony found an old friend and so had his picture taken. |
