4th Annual Church Family Retreat

We talked, sang, discussed, and in general had a good time.
The week following the retreat an informal meeting after worship was held to discuss futures, and it was
decided to give a Retreat Planning Committee a try.  Tony D'Ambrosio agreed to head it up, if the idea was
approved by Council which did occur at the May Council Meeting.
Some ideas for next year:  1. Hold the retreat away from town and over 2 nights instead of one.
2. Select a theme that allows more activities than just listening to a speaker, talking, writing and eating.
It will be a few months before we get started, so if you've ideas in the meantime, forward them to
Tony and he will present them to the committee when it has its first meeting.
We start with some icebreakers.
Ed Gagnon is very comfortable in the kitchen.
Some chatting, too.
David Marr tends to all the loose ends.
Breaking into groups of 3 to tackle a discussion point.
Our retreat leader also leads some singing.
Ed survey's his creation
Tony D. survey's Ed's accomplishment.
We also  broke into discussion groups.
Another discussion group.

All the discussion groups, going at it hot and heavy
over coffee.
Marcie presents some ideas about plans for our
 fall Membership & Evangelism efforts.
All that talking makes you hungry.  Let's eat.  We did.
